THE PASSING OF
MRS. BOCKE

WELL KNOWN NORTH END
WOMAN DIED SATURDAY
AFTERNOON.

Mrs. Anna F. Bocke, of whose passing mention was made in The Herald last Saturday, died Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Mary's hospital of pleural pneumonia after an illness of three months' duration.

Mrs. Bocke was born in Laubheim, Weurtemberg, Germany, April 15, 1867, and would have completed the 45th year of her life had she been permitted to live until today. She had resided in Quincy for twenty-three years. She was a devoted Catholic, and a consistent member of St. John's Catholic church. She was also a prominent member of St. Anne's Ladies' society of St. John's church and was an active member of St. Angela court, No. 368, of the Lady Foresters.

She is survived by her husband, Henry B. Bocke, and three sons: Henry, Albert, and Arthur, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Huber, who, with three sisters and one brother of the deceased, still reside in Germany. One sister, Mrs. Louis Miller, of this city, also survives.

The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock from the residence, 909 North Eleventh street, with services at St. John's Catholic church, at 8:30 o'clock. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.
