"NEEDLES, Calif. -- Junior Lee Graves, 65, Needles, formerly of St Joseph, died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at a hospital there.

Mr. Graves was employed in maintenance in Colorado Springs, Colo., and San Diego. Born in St Joseph on April 29, 1931, he had resided there before moving to Colorado Springs. He had been a resident of Needles for about seven years.

Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his parents, George H. Graves and Ruth M. Harris; and two half-brothers, John and Jesse.

Surviving are a brother, Edmund of St Joseph; a half-brother, George H., of St Joseph; two sisters, Mary L. Sears of Fremont, Calif., and Loretta K. Larabee of St Joseph; and three half-sisters, Katheryn Osteen of Hiawatha, Kan., and Alta M. Baker and Betty Cummings, both of St Joseph.
