AREA COUPLE WED 40 YEARS

MOHAWK . . Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Glines of Paines, Howllow quietly observed their 40th wedding anniversary on July 16 at their Paines Howllow Rd. home.

The former Vida Cool of Dolgeville and Mrs. Glines of Newville were married July 16, 1919 at the Little Falls Baptist parsonage. For the past 16 years, they have resided in Paines Hollow, previously living at Chatham,
near Albany. They operate their own farm.

They have seven children, Sydney Glines, Herkimer LEONARD {Leon ?} Glines, Mohawk; Truman Glines, Richfield Springs; Harold Darling, Copake Falls; Walter Darling, Chatham; Mrs. Richard Dallas, Paines Hollow; Mrs. Charles Hunthrebille, Holland Patent. They also have 14 grandchildren.

Both are communicants of Paines Hollow Methodist Church and members of Paines Hollow Grange.

SECOND GLINES FAMILY HOLDS REUNION 1960

MOHAWK The Glines family held a family reunion Sunday at Canadaroga Park with 62 persons attending.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Darling, Copake Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Darling and daughter Chatham; Mr. and Mrs. Silas King, Dolgeville; Sidney Cool, Ephratah; Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Glines and Helen Hamm, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Glines and son Mohawk.

Also, Mr. and Mrs. William Neale Jr., and son, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hollis and two children; Mohawk; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Glines and two children, Carl and David Carl, also Mrs. Glines father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Unsworth from England; Raymond Hicks, Ilion; Mr. and Mrs. RichardDallas and two children, Danny Horning Mr. and Mrs. Donald Skinner and sister, Darlene Skinner, Franfort.

MOHAWK RESIDENT

MOHAWK - - Jasper H. Glines, 65, of 14 Johnson St., a farmer in the Paines Hollow area until he retired in 1960, died at his home today aftera long illness.

Born May 14, 1898 in Bowen, Ill., the son of the late MARCELLUS and Julia Grandstaff GLINES, he married Vida Cool in 1919 in Little Falls. He was a member of the Paines Hollow Methodist Church.d

His wife survives, also three sons, Sydney and Leon, of Herkimer; Truman, Richfield Springs RD; two step-sons, Harold Darling, Copake Falls; Walter Darling, Chatham; two step daughters, Mrs. Millie Dallas Frankfort;
Mrs. Myrtle Humphrey, Humphreyville, Rensen; two sisters Mrs. BerthaMurray, Little Falls Rd; Mrs. Iva Hill Utica; a brother, Henry Glines Ilion; 24 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Rev. Fred G. Cotnam, pastor of the Herkimer Methodist Church, will conduct services at 2 PM Thursday from the Graves Funeral Home. Burialwill be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer in the Spring. Calling hours are 2 to 4

Mohawk- H. Glines, 65, a retired farmer, died yesterday in his home, 14 Johnson St.

Mr. Glines was born in Bowen, Ill. He married Vida Cool in Little Falls in 1919. He had been a dairy farmer in the Paines Hollow area until his retirement in 1960. Mr. Glines was a member of the Paines Hollow Methodist Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Sidney, Herkimer, Truman, Richfield Springs and Leon, East Herkimer, two stepsons, Harold Darling, Kopake Falls and Walter Darling, Chatham; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mildred Dallas, Frankfort and Mrs. Myrtle Humphreyville, Remsen; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Murray, Little Falls and Mrs. Iva Hill, Utica and a brother, Henry, Ilion.

The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from the Graves Funeral Home here with the Rev. Fred G. Cotnam, pastor of the Herkimer Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, next spring.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
