She was an assistant tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service.
Carol was born in Seattle, Washington to Bernice Weber Kennedy and Charles Fleming Kennedy.
She graduated from Taft High School in 1952, attended San Jose State University,then married in 1954 and had six children.
In 1978 Carol returned to Fresno State University to complete a degree in gerontology.
She went on to serve as the director of the Fowler Senior Center and worked as an Ombudsman advocating on behalf of the elderly. Carol's Catholic faith was tremendously important to her.
She served tirelessly at St Anthony of Padua in many capacities, including Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and co-chair of St Anthony's bridge group.
She was an avid bridge player, loved flowers, gardening, the beach, jazz, books, dancing, and being part of lives of 12 Grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother.
She is survived by her five daughters, Cathy Oleson and her husband Ron, Nancy Hall and her husband Mike, Leslie Von Der Ahe and her husband Clyde, Leah Cole, Lynda Henricy and her husband Jim; her son, Charles Reggio Cole; her brother, Charles "Pat" Kennedy and wife Rosemary Anton; grandchildren, Rachel and Mario Gonzalez, Jeff and Jon Oleson, Diane and Kimmy Von Der Ahe, Emmett, Laura, Sarah and Michael Hall, and Nicholas and Elliott Henricy.
Memorial Mass held at Saint Anthony of Padua Guadalupe Chapel.
