Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dresden First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Bro. Mark Earheart officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery with Bowlin Funeral Home, Dresden in charge of the arrangements.
David Parham, Jerry Parham, Donald Parham, Mitchell Parham, Mike Parham, Kyle Parham, Kurt Parham, Ray Griffith, Gerald Griffith and Jimmy Parham served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dick Freeman, Dick Jones, Wendell Alexander, Frank Parham, Max Speight, Billy Powell and Ronald Copeland.
Mrs. Parham was born Feb. 1, 1916 in Dresden, daughter of the late Joe White and Stella Norman Miller Loyd. She was the widow of Snoda King Parham.
She was a 1934 graduate of Dresden High School, a graduate of the University of Tennessee Jr. College and Mrs. Walter Morgan's Business School. She retired as a schoolteacher with the Weakley County School System on May 27, 1978.
Survivors include one daughter, Regina K. Parham of Dresden; and one niece, Kay Patton Pinkston of Oxford, Miss.
She was also preceded in death by two half sisters, Nell Loyd and Mona Loyd Patton; and one niece, JoLoyd Haney.
