Born February 23, 1921, at Herbine, he was a son of the late Bester Moore Rauls and Zelphia Ann Puckett Rauls.
He was of the Missionary Baptist faith, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include hls wife, Lucille Stewart Rauls; two sons, James Rauls of Herbine and Jeff Rauls of Bearden; three daughters, Judy Penny of Clarksville, Janet Burkhardt of Herbine and Jo Ann Long of Monticello; a brother, Robert Lynn Rauls of Herbine; a sister, Verdie Reap of Herbine; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled far 2 p.m. Sunday at Buie Funeral Home at Rison with Julias Copeland and Lindell Selvey officiating. Burial will be at Prosperity Cemetery at Herbine.
