There are records he married Elizabeth Parrot in 1844. In the 1850 US Census, she is listed as 50 yrs old. *

Isaac and his brother, William Jones along with Rhoda's father, Moses Smith, and her uncle, Thomas Smith III, an Ezekiale Smith and John Hibbard, are said to be "The First Families of Goose Creek." When these Smith-Hibbard-Jones settlers purchased their lands there (in the late-1700's), Goose Creek was a part of Knox County, KY, but in 1807, that section became a part of Clay County, KY

Isaac married a Rhoda Elizabeth Smith. They had 11 children that I know of: Joseph, Sarah, Samuel, Ezekiel, Susan, Dutton, Clarissa, Solomon, John and Nathan Jones.

Knox County Court, Feb'y. Term 1856. daughter, that have been dead some years, and have left their children, orphans, in the world, my will is that my nine living sons a nd daughters shall out of the value of my negros and other property, give unto their several heirs and equal portions, that they would a have theirs if they were living in money or some other property.
