WEAVERVILLE - January 8, 1958 - Services for Mrs. Logan Ayers, 74, of Weaverville, who died Tuesday in her home, after a brief illness, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West Funeral Home.
The Rev. H. E. Benfield and the Rev. Orlando Hawkins will officiate, and burial will be in West Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Broadus Shepherd, Charles Hendrix, Bob Wilson, Atlee Brown, Bob Michael, Fred Hensley, Leonard Hunter and W. W. Fowler.
Mrs. Ayers was a native and lifelong resident of Western North Carolina and a member of Gashes Creek Baptist Church.
