Actor. He was an American film, television, and voice actor. Starting in 1959, he is credited with at least 29 films, usually minor roles. He played the role of John Bosley on the hit television series "Charlie's Angels," which aired from 1976 to 1981. He and co-star Jaclyn Smith were the only two actors in the series that appeared in every episode. After "Charlie's Angels," he had a prolific television career, usually as a character actor in minor roles. He was also a semi-regular panelist on "Match Game." From 1990 to 1997, he voiced "Grandpa Lou Pickles" on the wildly popular Nickelodeon animated series "Rugrats" until his death in 1997.
