Leland David Clark, 63, of 11014 Kenyon Road, died Monday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born DEC 27, 1929, in Knox county to Charles S. and Edna M. Bennett Clark and spent his life in Knox county. He retired in January from Coopers Energy Service after 42 years of employment. He was also an army veteran. He was an active member of the moose Lodge and had served more than 25 years for the College Township Volunteer fire Department in Gambier. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eileen Daniels Clark,; two sons, D. Bruce Clark (Debe) of Howard and John C. Clark of Mount Vernon; a step son, Ronald A Daniels of Lakewood; a brother, George Clark of Shiloh;and two grandchildren, Angelene & Jessica Clark of Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles S. Clark Jr. and James Clark, and two sisters, Martha Westfall and Elizabeth Rhoad. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon where funeral services will be held an Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Oak grove Cemetery, in Gambier.
