Employed Exchange Bank of Kentucky as Vice-President and Secretary of the Board, Mt. Sterling 78-83, while living in Mt. Sterling, he served as Cub Master, was a member of United Methodist Church. Employed Bank of Mt. Vernon 83-89 as Vice President, also served as Boy Scout Master Troop 263, member of Kit Carson District Roundtable, Vigil in Kawida Lodge, Unit Commissioner for Rockcastle County Pack 263.
In 1989 moved back to his hometown of Cynthiana becoming associated as Vice-President in charge of bank operations and secretary of the board with Farmers National Bank, 6th generation member of the First United Methodist where he has served on the finance committee,& chairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations; Unit Comm. for BSA Troop 60 and Pack 60 89-07, District Commissioner for Elkhorn Dist. BSA 2008-present, received District Award of Merit 2007. He was manager of Suburban and Delta Park Mobile Home Parks for 20 years, past member of the board for Junior Achievement in Harrison County.
Married Sharon Lee Benefiel Sept 27, 1969 and father of three sons and 6 grandchildren.
