Joyce Sparkman Lovelace, 87, of Waco, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Presbyterian Village North in Dallas. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 4, at Austin Avenue United Methodist Church in Waco with the Reverend Chris Mesa officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, September 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco.

Evelyn Joyce was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Helen and William Wornick. To everyone that knew and loved her, she was known as "Joycie". One was always aware when she entered the room. Her girls and their families were the light of her life. Golf, later, became her passion, having three holes in one to boast! Joyce was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church in Waco.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Marvin Sparkman, DVM; and second husband, John Henry Lovelace.

She is survived by daughters, Betty Williamson, of Dallas, Ann Cox and husband, Ken, and Kay Watson and husband, Robert, all of Richardson; grandchildren, Ernie and Michelle Williamson, of Houston, Michelle and Bo Ward, of Plano, Kristyn and Michael Ramsey and Allison and Bryan Williams, all of Dallas, Melissa and Todd Mehall, of Fort Worth, and Ryan and Hillary Watson, also of Houston; as well as great-grandchildren, Travis, Mary Margaret, and John Williamson, Tessa and Ella Ward, Max and Audrey Ramsey, and Madeline and Henry Mehall. They all celebrate the wonderful life of their beloved grandmother "Joycie".
