LaDonna Jean Hipps, 52, of Dardanelle, died Friday, June 16, 2006 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
The daughter of Alan and Jewell Dean Ross, and Bryant Hipps, she was born June 23, 1953, in Russellville. She was a 1971 graduate of Dardanelle High School and worked as a cashier with Save-A-Sum Grocery in Dardanelle for over 20 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Russellville where she was active in the AY's group.
She is survived by two brothers, Dennis Ross and wife, Joy, of Kansas City, Mo., and Randall Ross and wife, Kay, of Russellville; two sisters, Debbie Rudder and husband, Larry, of Delaware, and Donna Evans and husband, Roger, of Pueblo, Colo.; her nieces and nephews who considered her to be their second mother, Wendy Hogrefe and husband Gary, of the Augsburg community, J.R. Mashek and wife, Nicole, of Delaware, Brian Rudder of Centerville, and Richard Rudder and wife, Jennifer, of Greenwood; great nieces and nephews whom she helped raise, Taylor, Rylee and Kody Hogrefe, T.J. Mashek, Baleigh Rudder, Ashley, Caleb and Abbie Rudder and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Humphrey Chapel. The Rev. Keith Underhill will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
