2005. He has finally been released from his pain and confusion. Dan was born
Oct. 8, 1936 to Delmar C. and Ellen McLaren Allred in Salt Lake City. Dan was
a finish carpenter and a master of his trade. He worked in all phases of
construction. Dan married the love of his life, Sue, on November 25, 1978. Dan
is survived by his wife, Sue, Sandy, Utah; children, Larry and Sylvia Allred,
West Jordan; Andrea and Rod Sorenson, Heber City; Joni Huffman, Eloy, Arizona;
stepchildren, Dale Peterson, Sandy; Tammy and Jeff Brand, West Valley City; 19
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Tim) Hohman, Tooele;
brother, Terry (Dee) Allred, Nipomo, California. Dan has a special
relationship with his grandchildren, Alisha, Michael, Christina, Jessica,
Charley, Jakie and Larry; his great-grand-children, Nathan, Canyon, and Alexi.
Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat. The family would like to
thank the staff at Holladay Healthcare for their loving care of Dan. Funeral
services will be held Friday, February 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Goff
Mortuary 8090 So. State where friends may call Friday from 12 Noon to time of
services. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
