(special thanks to Rajordan for the following info) Walter M. Deason was born on 7 February 1838 in Texas. He was a twin to John Deason, Jr. They were sons of John Deason, Sr. and Nancy Barclay. Walter served in the Company E, 10th Texas Cavalry of the Confederate States Army. He died on 10 July 1863 in Lauderdale Station, Lauderdale County, Mississippi.
