Entered into rest at a local infirmary, May 23, 1979, Mrs Lois Gay Washington, wife of Mr. Albert J. Washington, of 1758 Walkins St. Augusta. Funeral services will be conducted at the Thomas L King Chapel, Saturday afternoon, at 2pm. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs Washington was a native of Blythe, Ga, but lives in Augusta for 39 years. She was a member of the Bible Deliverance Temple and operated a nursery for many years.
Survivors include her husband: two daughters, Mrs. Judy Gore and Carolyn J. Washington, Augusta; and two sons, Albert Vernon Washington, and Ronnie Washington, Augusta.
