BRIGGS - Lulu M. Briggs of 1642 West Sixth avenue died at her home on June 25. She was a lifelong resident of Lane County, born May 4, 1891 at Walker, Oregon. She married Otto W. Briggs at Walker on September 4, 1909. Mrs. Briggs was a member of the Baptist church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cloydene Parker of Eugene; Mrs. Berrilla McBee of Goshen; son Clarence of Junction City; three brothers, Marvin Jackson of Eugene; Melvin Jackson of Walker; Byron Jackson of Cheshire; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will take place from the Poole-Larsen Chapel on Wednesday, June 27, at 1 p.m. Dr. Vance H. Webster will officiate and interment will be in the family plot in the IOOF cemetery No. 2.
