Funeral Services for Mrs. Harry (Cora E. [Prickett Romey]) Knisley Sr., 68 who died Nov. 24 1969 at the local hospital, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at McColley's Chapel of the Hills. Dan Snider, , Minister of the Church of Christ, will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Ted Sidey, Noel Stroom, Bud Knisley, Ray Weisser, Buddy Soper and Bill Knisley. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Cora Emma Prickett Romey Knisley was born Dec. 15, 1900 at Scottsbluff, Neb. She grew up in the Scottsbluff area. She married Loy A. Romey Jan. 29, 1921.
She married Harry W. Knisley Feb. 11, 1954, and they made their home in Moose, Wyo. from that time until his retirement from the government service in 1963, when they moved to Beaver Crossing, Neb., where they lived until March of this year, when they came to Hot Springs to make their home.
Survivors include the widower; four sons, Ralph and Ted Romey, Ariz., Vernon Romey, Ellensburg, Wash., and John Romey, Gardiner, Mont.; three daughters, Mrs. Elva Britain, Oelrichs, Mrs. Mildred Fox, Dugway, Utah, Mrs. Jim (Marvel) Byrnes, Omaha, Neb.; three brothers, Harry Prickett. Mitchell, Neb., Zelmer and Clarence Prickett, Torrington, Wyo.,; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Wallage, Castro Valley, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Prickett, Middeltown, Idaho, 26 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund with McColley's Chapel of the Hills in charge.
