Last Friday morning at 10 o'clock, just five weeks to the day and hour after services were held over the body of his wife, funeral services were conducted over the body of William H. Abell of Durham. The decedent was well known over the county, having been county collector from 1884 to 1890. He was a son of Samuel and Hester Abell and was born July 4, 1861. He had been ill but three days when death overtook him on November 7. Rev. W. D. Cave of Crocker, Mo., conducted the funeral. The three surviving children, Forest of Worland, Wyo., Miss Willa and John S. Abell at home, have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. Mr. Abell leaves one brother, John S. Abell, and three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Bywaters of Iowa, Mrs. Sallie Firestone of Oklahoma and Mrs. Susie Nelson of Kansas.
