Walter Milton Williams married Nina Louise Graham on 17 May 1952 at Comanche, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1961.

He was a self-employed building and painting contractor and a Baptist.

Survived by two sons -Walter Milton Williams, Jr and Ronnie Williams; one step-son - Grady Graham; one daughter - Daphna Vincent; one brother - Willie A Williams; two sisters - Vernell Crisp and Carmaleta Vanderpool; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; two sisters.
