Hicks, Martin M., age 68, residence 424 Colonial, died 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in Veterans Hospital, Dallas. Retired postal employe. Survivors, son, Hal M.; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Lindsay, Mrs. Thelma Bently; grandson, Landon Lindsay; granddaughter, Shirley Hurley; great-granddaughter, Frances Lee Hurley; four sisters, Mrs. Joe A. Milder, Mrs. Josie McDonald, Mrs. L. L. Wilson, Mrs. Medie Stakeley. Funeral services 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Riverside Chapel, Rev. L. D. Anderson officiating. Active pallbearers, Fred Bleeker, John Greene, Charles Axline, Col. Lloyd Hill, Clay Smith, Joe Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Spanish war veterans. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery.
