Mrs. Charles Allen of Windsor, died at 7 AM Tuesday in Sullivan at the home of Bert Maycroft where she was a guest. She was 78 years old.
Mrs. Allen as Nettie Florence Crum, was born December 20, 1876, in Dalton City. She married Charles Mesech Allen on August 24, 1902.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Orville of Windsor; a daughter, Mrs. C. E. (Alice) Adams of Tower Hill; a brother, Marion Crum; of Decatur and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 PM Thursday in the Ash Grove Christian Church with the Reverend B.J. Steed officiating. Burial was in the Ash Grove Cemetery. The body remained at the Lovins Funeral Home until time for the services.
