Doyle Bartlett Dies In Detroit; Rites Held Here:
Funeral services for Doyle L. Bartlett, 43, Putnam County native who died Saturday in Detroit, were held Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 at Carver Funeral Home, with Dr. John Sykes, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. Carver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Roberta Ward Barteltt; three sons, Eugene, Billy, and Roger Dale Bartlett; one daughter, Barbara Bartlett all of Detroit; three brothers, Cordell Bartlett, Algood, Ned Bartlett, Knoxville and Walter K. Bartlett of Cleveland; seven sisters, Mrs. A. P. Stone, Barberton, Ohio; Mrs. Burch Leftwich, Buffalo Valley; Miss Hortense Bartlett, Cookeville; Mrs. Willie Carter, Jr., Toyko, Japan; Mrs. Charles Ward, Baxter; Mrs. Johnny Seeley, Detroit; and Mrs. Wiley Lee Bilbrey, Brotherton.
