Charles "Chuck" Clark Enloe, 77, of Cherryvale, Kansas, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Independence, Kansas.
He was born April 7, 1933, in Enon, Missouri, the son of Enoch W. and Bessie J. (Scrivner) Enloe.
He attended East High School in Kansas City, MO.
On Aug. 20, 1966 he was united in marriage to Susan Yurkovich in Reno, Nevada. She survives, at the home in Cherryvale, KS.
He owned and operated the Hide Away Tavern in Humboldt, KS.
Other survivors include three sons, B. Craig Enloe, of Leavenworth, KS, Charles "Chuck" Enloe, Jr., of Lexington,
OK, and J. Wesley Enloe, of Cherryvale, KS; a daughter, Frances Tracy Schuman, of Ottawa, KS; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at Potts Chapel, Cherryvale, KS. Inurnment will be at a later date at Russellville, Missouri in the Enloe cemetery.
Memorial gifts are suggested to the American Heart Association, and may be left with the funeral home.
