Bascom Wright Dies At Home on Maple

H. Bascom Wright, 85 years of age, retired farmer and well known Mayfield citizen, died in his home on Maple avenue at 12:50 o'clock this afternoon after a short illness. He had been in failing health for several years and death resulted from complications.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it was announced taht the last rites wil likely be conducted tomorrow.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Wright, and ten children as follows: H. O., and Joe Wright, Mrs. Leila Backus, Mrs. F. P. Bedford and Mrs. Frank Maddocks, of California; Mrs. P. T. Keillar, of Palestine, Tex., George Wright, Wesley Wright and Mrs. W. C. Hargrove, Graves county, and Mrs. H. B. Hargrove, Paducah.

Wright Funeral Is Held at M. E. Church

Last rites for H. Bacsom Wright, 85 years of age, will be conducted at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon at the First Methodist church with the Rev. F. B. Jones in charge. Interment will be in Maplewood. The pallbearers will be: H. J. Wright, W. F. Wright, J. W. Fristoe, Delbert Gillum, Loren Adams and Roy Morehead.

Mr. Wright, retired farmer, died in his home on Maple Avenue at 12:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon following an illness of complications.
