Kaleb Andrew Sultenfuss, infant son of Kevin Andrew Sultenfuss and Melody June Mueck, died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at the age of 3 months and 24 days.
He was born on July 17, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas.
Kaleb was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Alice Mueck, and great-grandfathers Joe Adams and Alfred Sultenfuss.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents Melissa June and Frank David Mueck Sr., and William and Jodie Sultenfuss, all of Floresville, Texas; great-grandparents Jim and Emmalene Rankin of St. Hedwig, Texas, Frank and Henrietta Mueck of Seguin, Texas, Barbara Heiman, and Vernell Sultenfuss; uncles Frank David Mueck Jr. and fiancée Carolyn Denise Whitley and Shaun Michael Sultenfuss.
A funeral service was held Friday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville with Brother Keith Johanson of the La Vernia Church of Christ officiating.
Music at the funeral included "Jesus Loves Me," played by Jim Cathey, Kim Buxton, and Cheri Harrison, "You Are My All in All," and "No Tears in Heaven," sung by the La Vernia Church of Christ choir members including Kaleb's great-uncle, Michael Rankin, and Kaleb's cousins, Mark Rankin and Tyler Rankin.
Interment followed in St. Jerome's Cemetery in China Grove, Texas.
Pallbearers were Kaleb's daddy, Kevin Andrew Sultenfuss, and Kaleb's uncle, Frank David Mueck Jr.
Kaleb was killed in an automobile accident.
