This is a difficult Genealogy Line to research, as many of these original Records for this Genealogy line no longer survive. Several Courthouses have burned, vandalism and theft during some Wars have occurred, causing loss of many original Records. Some complete Censuses for several Counties and States no longer exist. Some Records have been moved from Courthouse to Courthouse or from County to County, as various County Boundaries have been redrawn and new Counties have been created. (Some Records still exist, but are no longer in their original County locations, which can easily be missed during an incorrect County search). Many other problems occurred during the period surrounding the redrawing of the NC and SC State lines in the late 1700s. For this reason, some of the original Records consisting of these original Wills and Will Books, Land Surveys and Plat Books, and many other similar Documents have not survived (or are much more difficult to locate) from this time period.

They were married on Jan 28, 1775 in Caroline, MD, USA. Daughter, Esther Fisher -m- John Jones on Jun 24, 1797 in Rowan, NC; Wit. Risdon Fisher. This Risdon was most likey born in MD, and also lived and died in Rowan, NC. ("James Washington Fisher" -m- "Mary Holson" comes up early, also, but appears now, to be from a different Fisher Father). "James Fisher -m- Mary" comes up very early, for this Line. She died in Queen Ann's, MD and left a Will dated Sept 27, 1764 (Liber JR-B Folio 362). His Will is most likely the "James Fisher" Will made on Nov. 15, 1754 in Queen Ann's, MD. (Liber JR-B Folio 23). (These names are mostly concentrated in Rowan, NC, Caroline, MD, and Queen Ann's, MD).
