Lucy Clodell Northcutt, age 91, of Maumelle, Arkansas, formally of Emory, died August 26, 2010 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Monday August 30, 2010 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dunbar Cemetery near Emory. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home
Mrs Northcutt was born April 13, 1919, the daughter of Arthur and Cora (Dorn) Arnold in Valiant, OK. She was the oldest of 6 children. Her family moved to Emory when Lucy was a small child. She married A. W. Northcutt in December of 1936 in Emory. She was a homemaker and worked in retail managment. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Gathright and husband, Randall of Maumelle, AR;
sisters, Mary McKinnie and husband Rudy of Dallas, and Geneva Hays of Longview; brothers, James Arnold of Emory, and Frank Arnold and wife, Joan of Granbury; grandchildren, Jerri Hampton, Kim Wolfe, Stacy Stuckly, Jennifer Hilton and Stephanie Hemphill; great-grandchildren, Amanda Rodriguez, Jason Guest, Aaron Hampton, Ashley Bulow, Kristina Stuckly, Clay Hilton and Sara Stuckly; Six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: husband in 1970; daughter, Janina Mayberry in 2003; granddaughter, Alana Guest in 2007, great-granddaughter, Amber Rae Payne in 2003 and one brother, Jack Arnold
