James Edward Severson, 73, died of natural causes Friday, 1:30 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born Sept. 16, 1889, Big Cottonwood, to Edward and Fanny Gallyer Severson. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. World War I Veteran. Member Silver Club.
Survivors; sisters, Mrs. Nona Workman, Lethbridge, Mrs. Maude Karren, Vernal; Mrs. Wilford (Edna) Shelmardine, Choteau, Mont., Mrs. Thomas (Ruth) Wall, Mrs. Bural (Lois) Gilbert, both Salt Lake City.
Funeral Wednesday noon, 4760 S. State, where friends call Thueday, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday hour prior to services.
