Rev. Staats Officiates at Funeral in Molalla

Funeral services for the late William Edward Bonney of Molalla, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Everhart funeral parlors, Molalla. Rev. J. O. Staats, officiated and interment was in the family lot in the Colton cemetery.
Mr. Bonney was born at Hubbard, January 27, 1850, and on April 23, 1874, married Miss Jane Tuckness. To this union there were born 12 children, eight of whom are surviving. These are James H., Cedro Wooly, Wash.; Delbert J., Seattle; Archie E., Cove, Ore.; Mrs. Ellen Countryman, Mrs. Lucy Livingston, and Mrs. Neil Creason, Molalla; Miss Amanda Bonney, Portland, Mrs. Amy Lamm, Bandon, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Reasoner, Seattle.
For 43 years he made his home in the Colton country, engaging in farming and as a sideline years ago made shingles by hand.
