Sarah was the daughter of James Wilson. She married Philip Marshall. They had 5 children, as follows:

1. James Wilson Marshall, born 8 Oct. 1810, who discovered gold in California in 1849--linked below;
2. Abigail Marshall, born 13 May 1813, married Smith Ely--linked below;
3. Rebecca Marshall, born abt. June 1820, married Thomas B. Carr--linked below;
4. Mary Marshall (possibly also buried here), born abt. 1822, married Martin L. Reeve;
5. Sarah H. Marshall, born 13 Sep. 1827, married Peter C. Hoff--linked below.
