Alliance, Neb., Feb. 9. (AP)--Mystery surrounds the death of J. Garfield Ball, 45, wealthy rancher, whose body was found in bed on his farm, 10 miles northwest of here Tuesday forenoon. Bruises about his head caused county authorities to believe he may have been murdered. A rigid investigation is being made.
