Charles Larson.

Charles LARSON, 82, retired farmer and a resident of Kansas for 81 years, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. He was born August 23, 1869, in Sweden and came to the United States and to Riley County, Kansas, with his parents in 1870.

He had been a resident of Shawnee County since 1909.

He was a member of the Bethel Covenant Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie LARSON of the home; three sons, Edwin R. and Irvin R. Larson, both of Topeka, and Roy H. Larson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; six daughters, Mrs. William MacKENDER and MRs. Don HASSEBROEK, both of Riley; Mrs. Howard McCUE, Mrs. Keith ESTES and Miss Eloise LARSON, all of Topeka, and Mrs. Ernest BAHR, San Antonio, Texas; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McMichael Memorial Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
