Cecil Elton Bown Fayette, Utah Cecil Elton Bown, 78, of Fayette, Utah, passed away January 3, 2006 in Provo, Utah. He was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Fayette, Utah to Elton and Clara Hill Bown.

He married Lorna Nielson, April 2, 1953, in the Manti LDS Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna, Fayette; children, Bob (Janice), of Fayette; Brent (Candi) of Springville; David (Dani) of Fayette; Kenneth of Logan; and Clark (Elise) of Gunnison; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, James "Slim" (Barbara) of Gunnison, and Douglas of Fayette; and a sister Pat (Joe) Spransy of Seattle, Washington.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 12 Noon at the Fayette LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Friday evening from 6-8 pm and again at the ward chapel on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will follow in the Fayette Cemetery with military rites by the Gunnison American Legion Post #104.
