A native of Louisa, Mr. Abbott was born Oct. 23, 1879, a son of the late James and Arminta Diamond Abbott. He was a graduate of the school of pharmacy of Ohio Northern University at Ada, Ohio.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Jenkins Lodge F. & A.M.
Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Mary Goble Abbott; and one sister, Mrs C. J. Carey of Ormond Beach, Fla.
