Zachariah was the pioneer of the family in that his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, were born and lived and died in Connecticut. Zachariah moved first to New York, and later to Ohio. He married his first wife, Esther French in 1793. They had 7 children: Huldah, Amelia, Luther, Walter, Charles, Electa, and Walter. He married a second time- to Sarah Stanton and had a daughter, Esther, with her.
We don't know where his grave is. But I am continuing to search for it, as it is supposed to be in Conneaut, Ohio. This is where his son, Charles, is buried, and three more generations down to and including my grandfather are, and dozens of descendants still live.
