Strole Monger and the late Hubert Monger, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday
at 6:45 a.m.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Miss Eleanor Marie
Monger, of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. Lawrence Miller and
Miss Florine Monger; two brothers, Collie Monger and William Monger, all of
Elkton, and three stepsons, Michael E. Lynn, of Aberdeen, Miss., Samuel A. Lynn,
of Norfolk, and Morris F. Lynn, of Guam.
He was a yard conductor for the Virginian Railway and had been in the employ of
the Virginian Railroad for 35 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of
Railroad Trainmen.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow
at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
