Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Beatrice Madry, 72, 1230 5th Ave SE, Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Southside Baptist Church with Rev. W.J. Johnson and Rev. C.A. Warsham officiating.
Burial will follow in the City Cemetery with Mutual Service directing. Mrs. Madry died Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. at the Decatur General Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. F.G. Davenport, Horse Shoe, N.C.; one brother, E.L. Orr, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Lilar Lynch, Hartselle and Mrs. A.J. Henderson, Decatur; a stepmother, Mrs. Lula Orr, Decatur and a grandson, Norman Davenport, of Horse Shoe N.C.
Pallbearers will be Walter Bethany, P.C. Goforth, A.H. Turner, Howard Culver, E.L. Ashford and Ed Clark.
The body will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
