Mrs. Matilda Graham Welch, 85, died of causes incident to age Monday, 10:30 a.m., in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born June 15, 1879, Mendon, Cache County, to John M. and Mary Ellen Rowe Graham. Married to Danial Henry Welch Oct. 18, 1897, Murray. He died Sept 3, 1931. Member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ninth Ward.
Survivors; son, daughters, Raymond, Mrs. Vernal (Lorraine) Ashley, Mrs. Thelma Zufelt, all Los Angeles; Mrs. LaVern Matern, Mrs. Earl (Ethel) Larsen, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Fassett, all Salt Lake City; 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, sisters, William Graham, Murray; Mrs. Ernest (Martha) Gibson, Los Angeles; Mrs. Elizabeth Crillan, Mrs. Edward (Olive) Estey, Mrs. Marie Knowlden, all Salt Lake City.
Funeral Thursday, 2 p.m. 2123 S. State, where friends call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Burial, Murray City Cemetery.
