Mr. Ament was born Oct. 13, 1928, at Wapello to Marshall David and Daisy Nearhood Ament.
He is survived by a sister Doris Bsinski of White Cloud, Mich. and two brothers, Ronald Ament of Laramie, Wyo., and Leslie Ament of Burleson, Texas.
Mr. Ament's body was cremated and buried in Wapello Cemetery. Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
