Marion Wiser
Marion (Jack) Wiser Jr., 66, died Sept. 30 in Avenal, Calif. The funeral service was held Oct. 3 at the Bragg and Sons chapel in Coalings and burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Conducting the service was the Rev. Edward Van Ham, pastor of the Avenal Presbyterian Church.
Wiser, who retired from Standard after 37 years, was born on Nov. 22, 1899 in Havana. He had lived in Avenal 33 years and is survived by his wife, Della; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Sontag of Taft and Mrs. Ethel Churchman of Ninomo.
