Stephen Anthony Taylor, 60, a genealogist, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on July 27, 2010. Born in Roanoke November 27, 1949, he was a son of the late Bessie Trenor Taylor and Eldee Thomas Taylor. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Scott Taylor, 67, of Elliston, on September 16, 2009. Scott was born December 15, 1942, in Fincastle, and was retired from the United States Army. Surviving both are brothers, Homer Leigh Belle Isle Jr. and his wife, Betty, and Walter Thomas Taylor Sr.; sisters, Betty Ann Taylor Robertson and Deborah Taylor Flint; special niece and caregiver, Peggy Jean Belle Isle Bryant; and 19 nieces and nephews. A memorial service for both will be held Friday, August 13, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in the Vinton Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For additional information call 540-312-4867.
