METTER -- Mrs. Ruth Rigdon Creech, 95, died Oct. 19 at Candler County Hospital. She was a native of Emanuel County and a resident of Candler County most of her life.
She was one of the oldest living widows of a World War I veteran and the oldest member of Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and a homemaker. She was the widow of Richard F. Creech Sr.
