She was born July 29, 1952, in Topeka, the daughter of Ernest Vincent and Marjorie Ann Eckert Sage. She moved with her family to Olympia, Wash., from Topeka when she was 16 years old. She had lived in Wilamina, Ore., since 1976.
She was married to Arlie Lee Button on Aug. 16, 1975, in Springfield, Ore. He died March 24, 1994.
Survivors include her mother, Marjorie A. Sage, Elma,Wash.; two sons, Michael D. Button, Amity, Ore., and David A. Button, Lake Chelan, Wash.; two brothers, Lawrence A. Sage, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Richard V. Sage, Lacey, Wash.; two sisters, Sandra L. Uribe and Tina M. Heenan, both of Olympia, Wash.; and one grandchild.
