Mrs. Susan Pope Dies Wednesday
Elderly County Resident Passes Away
Mrs. Susan E. Pope, age 92 years, the mother of Fred Pope of Eden, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Land Nursing Home at Morristown where she had been a patient for the past three years.
A life-long resident of Hancock County, Mrs. Pope was a member of the German Lutheran church at New Palestine.
Survivors include a son Fred, three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Essie Alford of near Mohawk.
Funeral services will take place from the George McCarty Funeral Home at Fortville Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Gravel Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
