Alberta Mae Butt, 77, of 513 Manor St., died Tuesday at her home. Death was apparently natural, but an autopsy was ordered, according to a family spokesman. She was the wife of Edward P. Butt, with whom she observed their 20th wedding anniversary in July. She was also the widow of Harold Zercher, who died in 1964. A homemaker, she lived in the Lancaster area all her life. Mrs. Butt volunteered at Todd's Groceries on Manor Street. She also was a member of the Eighth Ward Club. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Albert K. and Mary Wiley Souders. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald Zercher, Gordonville; a daughter, Shirley, wife of Stanley Urban, Lancaster; two sisters, Lauretta Kreider, Lancaster, and Betty Dull, Manheim; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a step son, Edward B., Lancaster; a step daughter, Rosemarie, wife of John Spidle, Lancaster; seven step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
