She shared a special bond with her daughter-in-law, Karen Summers, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, friends and special neighbors. She had an inclusive love of her two stepsons, Stewart and Don Summers. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Alice) Balleweg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenz and Julia Balleweg; brothers, Richard, Ray, George; and sisters, Peggy and Therese. Her Catholic faith and church were her strength in challenging and ordinary days. She believed dearly in her country. She was the first WAC volunteer from Pueblo to serve during WWII.
