Menno passed away at his home in Muskegon, Michigan on Sunday morning due to consumption of the stomach, with which he had been ailing for many years. He was born on a farm just out of Reed City, the son of Christian and Louisa Dadles, where he lived until he married Miss Carie Treptow, daughter of Mrs. F. J. Fleischhauer. Shortly after they moved to Greenville. At this place he was engaged in the dry good business for ten years, when he sold out and moved to Zoo City, Nebraska, where they lived for four years. They then returned to Michigan and located in Muskegon where he was manager of the Lindquist store, at which place he was employed up to just a short time before his death
To this union three children were born: Lucile, who is eighteen years of age, Marion, ten years of age; and Maxine, who preceded her father to the great beyond thirteen years ago. Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his death, a brother, Joseph Dadles and a sister, Mrs. George Ringler both of Reed City. His mother passed on before him seven years ago and his father only three months ago.
