Lucy Goss, age 75 of Batesville, formerly of Searcy died Monday, August 23, 2010 at a Batesville hospital. She was born September 9, 1934 at Cushman, Arkansas to Elijah Dewey and Mary (Duncan) Britt. She was a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, bowling, making quilts and traveling. She was a member of the New Life Family Church of God of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen Goss, one son, Michael Rounds, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Scott Goss of Cleveland, Ohio, four daughters, Patty Chambers of Tennessee, Stasha Hatcher of Judsonia, Allison Hale of Bald Knob and Brittany Mears of Judsonia, one sister, Lottie Biggers of Batesville, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will begin Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Tim White officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
