Josephine L. (Vignoni) Clancy-Stroud, on August 22, 2010. Josie was born December 15, 1925, raised in West Quincy and has lived in Weymouth for over 22 years. She will be remembered for the passion for her children, and her love of nature. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Stroud. Devoted mother of Donna Clancy-Thibodeau of Plymouth, Joseph Clancy and his wife Tina of Braintree, Geri Friend of Plymouth, Karen Clancy of Canton, and Dorothy Clancy of Weymouth. Beloved sister of Theresa Gillis of Florida, the late Mary Lyons, Katherine Thurston, John Vignoni and Charles McNamara. Former wife of the late Norman W. Clancy, formerly of Quincy, currently of Tampa, Florida. Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial visiting hours with prayers at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington Street, Weymouth, on Saturday, August 28 from 3 - 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
